Sul Ross Capital, Inc. Announces Winner of 2022 Beef Raffle
October 29, 2022—College Station, Texas [FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE]
On October 29, 2022 at SRC’s 2nd annual tailgate, held during the Texas A&M University vs. University of Mississippi football game, SRC conducted a drawing for the winner of our first-ever beef raffle. The winner of this raffle was Mr. Tim Akers of Iola, Texas.
Founded in 2018, one of SRC’s core purposes is to provide targeted support for those currently attending Texas A&M University through academic scholarships. Proceeds from this raffle will help support SRC in awarding our Fall 2022 scholarships to two deserving Texas A&M University students. The Board is grateful to all who purchased a raffle ticket; your support truly makes a positive impact on the Texas A&M community.

As SRC seeks to expand its philanthropic footprint in College Station, fundraising raffles will serve as an increasingly important tool in making SRC’s stated goals a reality.
